Associates in Family Care (AFC) was started by Dr. Doug McKinley in 1991 with a passion for providing a holistic health model of treatment including emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth. Dr. Jim Shalley, who now leads the practice, joined the practice early on and has been instrumental in assisting Dr. McKinley in developing the practice. Since that time the practice has grown significantly to include additional highly skilled therapists, all with the same desire: to see healing, restoration, and wholeness unfold in people’s lives, one conversation at a time.
